But ^(H)I am not ashamed, for ^(I)I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until ^(J)that day ^(K)what has been entrusted to me.^{[a] 13 (L)}Follow ^(M)the pattern of ^(N)the sound^[b] words ^(O)that you have heard from me, in ^(P)the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. ¹⁴ By the Holy Spirit ^(Q)who dwells within us, guard ^(R)the good deposit entrusted to you.

¹⁵ You are aware that ^(S)all who are in Asia turned away from me, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes. ¹⁶ May the Lord grant mercy to ^(T)the household of Onesiphorus, for he often ^(U)refreshed me and was not ashamed of ^(V)my chains, ¹⁷ but when he arrived in Rome ^(W)he searched for me earnestly and found me— ¹⁸ may the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on ^(X)that day!—and you well know all the service he ^(Y)rendered at Ephesus.
